This tall light-eyed, Kolkata girl, came into the limelight when she won the
Famous Ford Supermodels Contest at the tender age of 17. She also won the Tulips
Miss Super Vivacious in the same contest.Bipasha has been bold enough to accept
an unusual role in her initial films “Ajnabi” and “Raaz”.She was a household
name much before she entered films. Besides doing innumerable prestigious ads,
Bipasha did the famous video ‘Tu’ for Sonu Nigam’s album “Kismat”.Apart from
modeling and acting her other hobbies include dancing, reading and helping her
mother with interior designing. Bipasha is the second daughter in the family and
is fondly called Bonny by near and dear ones.
Her debut role in Ajnabee has won her much praise and the chilling 'Raaz' proved
to be a boon for Bipasha. She not only played the central character in the
movie, but also exuded confidence, charm and sensuousness with ease.
Bipasha deserves every bit of her success, and will definitely prove to be a
strong competitor in the race to claim the top spot . Her on and off
relationship with co-actor and model Dino Morea has often been the subject in
the leading newspapers. She feels her eyes are her strong feature.
Bipasha's relationship with fellow model and aspiring actor Dino Mora also
provides grist for the gossip mill, which is rife with speculation regarding an
impending breakup. Often her best friend, Milind Soman, yet another model and
aspiring actor, is cited as the cause.
Nowaday's she is up with John Abraham another model turned actor. Her recent
flicks that are about to hit the Box Office are the laugh riot No Entry
and another one is Barsaat.
