Sonali Bendre started out as a model before being selected for the "Stardust
Talent Search". She switched to bollywood with AAG AUR NARAZ film in 1994. Her
innocence and fresh charm are indeed just part of her costume - two more ways of
getting ahead in a perilous profession.After a spate of flops - Takkar, Bhai,
Diljale, Duplicate - Sonali Bendre finally made it with Sarfarosh. She showed
some traces of acting skills in this film and Zakhm .
She has faced a lot of rejections and has the most number of flops as a
newcomer. But with a face and figure like hers, she has a certain kind of oomph
and aura around her that makes her so special. None of her films have given her
career the required push, but Sonali Bendre has charmed millions of her admirers
by flashing just a sweet smile.
